Love the peom.
I have to say that up until 10 months ago, I hadn't shared my life with a cat for many years. Dogs always took pride of place in our house. However, since Edna and Melody came into our lives, the whole dimensions have changed. Melody rules the roost with her paws of iron. She is a proper premadonna, who torments Luika to bits (our dog), but is an absolute ball of loving fluff (when she wants to be lol). Edna is the quiet one, gentle of mind and character, and extremely talkative. Edna and Luika are best friends and Melody, well she is just Melody and I wouldn't want her any other way.
