Re: Outdoor Cat Run Ideas/Pictures

No problem probably best place to look is at a farmer's builder depot they probably have all the stuff needed for the sheeting and the green house.

I know some places you can purchase everything and they will cut it and build it for you if you got a plan to show them and measurements plus sometimes delivery is free.

Or you can go the DIY route by putting it all together yourself

For the tubing you would have to find a company which specialises in plastics.

@vivien, what sort of engineer?

@Merenwenrago, that is brialliant but we can't attach it to the house because of the path..

I feel sorry for poor Gypsy as it is so obvious she would like to go out. Due to the main road and all the foxes around here, that is not possible.
Hi Sammy sorry I got caught up watching the riots last night my son used to work in fabrication enginnering and they used to make things like what you are looking for when he was working there he made me my guttering for my shed my stainless steel splash back he said that to make that idea you will have to bend the 3 angles on a press then Weald tthe top on he said it would not be a cheap option there is a company in this country I think someone on the forum has used them who have what looks like rollers on the top of the fence I saw these people at the supreme cat show and it looks like a good idea

Re: Outdoor Cat Run Ideas/Pictures

Hi, we have recently had a cat run built in our garden for our indoor cat as we live on a main road. We have a cat flap installed in the glass patio doors which leads into the run but I do know you can have tunnels attached to windows also.
The guy we used was somebody on ebay called Dbart, if you type into ebay "cat runs" it should come up. I would highly recommend him - he was quick, reasonable (not cheap but reasonable), very good quality and our cat absolutely loves being out there and getting fresh air whilst watching the birds but still safe..

Thanks! Would you have any pictures of the cat run you've got? Just to give me an idea?

If you look at this link, there are some really good ideas! I love their Ficus product range! One day I might make one
