For my cats I use Cats Best Oko Plus (available from pets at home but cheaper on zooplus.com) I have never had any issues with wee smells, and very rarely have issues with poo smells.

It is flushable so you can flush the poo/wee clumps straight down the loo if you so wish, and I rarely do a full tray change so it lasts a good amount of time.
Just thought I'd mention incase you went down the flushing route:

I think it was GreyHare on another thread previously mentioned flushing poop is bad for the environment poisoning fish etc as
cat poop doesn't breakdown like ours & causes problems (the things I remember lol)

We use oko plus & it does the job

Re: Best litter for indoor cat

I also use Oko Plus and love it. Its reasonably priced and is saving me a fortune in litter (used to use bio-catolet) plus it controls odour well.

I have 2 trays for Lillie as she will not use a dirty tray and if I go out for the day I don't want her keeping her legs crossed and when I made the switch I put oko in one and the old litter in the other - turns out she prefers the oko plus too.
