Re: Me Vs. My boyfriend about De-clawing

I was going to say what you said not too lol xx

a cat uses their claws for alot of things and not just scratching - so how about you make him spend a week not being able to use his hands so he can find out how frustrating that is! xx

As already said by others don't let him win, stand your ground xx

Thanks for the reply Bee.....had me worried

My concern with this is, is there a possibility my cats would want to chew these off and inadvertently swallow the caps?

Re: Me Vs. My boyfriend about De-clawing

Horrible idea Would also interfere with so much natural cat behaviour , how would they manage to jump and climb safely?

I think tact is important though, as you say, he loves his cats and believes what he did [] was for the best.
Emphasis that times have changed since his cats ' op and that people no longer believe that this is a wise thing to do.

All else fails just a plain NO and refuse to budge.

Re: Me Vs. My boyfriend about De-clawing

My concern would also be that the cat will have no natural defense, if a de-clawed cat were to get outside it cannot defend itself or climb up a tree to escape danger.
