RSPCA do another Tweet-a-Thon
Saw this in the news today...
RSCPA Hold 24-Hour Twitter Marathon To Show Public About Animal Emergencies | UK News | Sky News I'll bet they won't be tweeting the conversations where folks are being told to dump their unwanted animals in the middle of the countryside etc.....!!!!!

Unfortunately, I've heard more bad stories about the RSPCA than I have heard good ones.
There was a recent thread here on PF (can't recall if it was in General Chat or Cat Chat - I'll see if I can find it and link it up) that discussed how appalling they can be...

It is such a shame that some bad branches overshadow all the hard work the good branches do. Same with the CP. Our local one is REALLY fantastic and caring and knowledgable, but some of the horror stories I have heard from members on here are really off putting.
I have to confess I still don't 'get' Twitter. It is the one bit of social networking/blogging I just can't get my head around. Maybe I should change my username to Gump?!

I posted that link in my animal news page on Facebook this morning too.
They'll only post what they want people to see and what makes them look 'good'.
