Re: Animonda Carny
My cat loves Animonda Carny. I alternate between this and Grau to keep him from getting too bored of one food. I rate both foods very highly - they both have a high meat content, a good meat/offal ratio...and I have found Animonda Carny to be slightly pleasing aroma-wise as it doesn't smell as strong as Grau. I also find its not as dense either, so its easier to mash up (some Grau flavours are very dense, but adding water makes it easier).

Re: Animonda Carny
I wouldnt recommend the two foods you mention as JWB has the main component as rice (dont often see a cat nomming down in a rice field!), and the applaws is a complementary food.
Animonda is a good one to wean on, nice high meat content, not very expensive in my eyes, plus lots of flavours to choose from. You can buy the adult versions of these and they will be fine for both cat and kittens.

Re: Animonda Carny
I only use the wet food (i dont feed any dry as I dont rate any of it, this gives good info on dry: Feeding cats for beginners (and more seasoned cat owners alike) )
I think they may do a dry food but I think its crap (I know the bozita and smilla ones arent rated highly in the dry a-z) If you really want to feed a dry then the best three are Orijen, Acana, and applaws. Delivery isnt too bad. I ordered some litter on friday and I am still waiting (but it was despatched fast and theres obviously been a weekend, I am hoping it comes tomorrow as we are down to one tray! Luckily my boys are total lovers and dont mind sharing lol)

Re: Animonda Carny
I really can't add any more than what gloworm*mushroom has already said
I too only feed wet (I do not rate dry food either). Animonda do have a dry food but is is far from good quality: A-Z of dry food for catsOrijen and Applaws are both very good (the best you can get, I believe) dry foods if you want to feed them dry also. Are you ordering from zooplus? I have found they usually dispatch quite fast and takes about 3-5 days from when you ordered. The worst I have experienced is a few dented cans (zooplus are not brilliant at packing things securely ), but they have gotten better from when I first started ordering. |

Kittens sometimes do better with more frequent smaller meals if you can do that, might be good for mum too until she is back to strenghth. When I'm at work I feed them before I leave at around 7.45, then when I get in at 4.30ish, and then before bed. Currently they are sorta fed whenever and whenever.
