Re: Animonda Carny

I put some Animonda Carny down for my lot last week, for the first time, and I had shiny clean bowls within 10 mins!!!! I NEVER get that.

I am feeding a mix of Bozita, Smilla & Animonda now to provide variety. I also add water to eat meal as these as all so much denser than Felix of Whiskas and my bunch prefer it a bit gloopier.

The current feeding regime is 200g each per day of tinned food, with extra water mixed in and 1 or 2 raw turkey hearts, depending on the size.

I would like to leave down a bowl of Applaws for daytime 'picking' but Abby just loves dry food and would eat it all herself. That would NOT be good for her tummy as she may like the dry food but it does not like her quite so much....

Re: Animonda Carny

My two are also Animonda lovers. I used to feed a little Applaws every day too but one of the boys just loves dry food and would hold out for it if he knew he got it every day and I knew it was a bad idea for him to only eat dry so now they only get dry food very occasionally - maybe once a week or so. My dry food addict seems to have come round to the wet food more now!

Re: Animonda Carny

I got the taster pack of tins recently for my Grau lover, Freckle, with the intention to mix in with Grau. My husband plonked half a can down when he was unsupervised and Freckle gobbled the lot (he normally prefers to eat a few mouthfuls and then return). He chucked it up later and when I left the room to get the cleaning stuff, Bloo ate the entire lot He'd never done that before so it must have been tasty Bloo then chucked it up a bit later, so I did get the pleasure of cleaning it out from the carpet twice. I had to stop them from trying to eat it while I cleaned it

Since then I've added a bit into the Grau and he now happily eats the Animonda, although he isn't scoffing it any more. The multi-meat cocktail seems to be his favourite

Thanks IA
Dexter and Giselle, who are our 14-week old kittens, go through 400g a day approximately (Animonda Carny + Gra: all flavours for variety). That's €1.50 for a 400g tin or 2x200g at my local Berlin petshop.

Hope this helps!
