Animal Lifeline UK is a Rescue Organisation which helps animal rescues. Its also here to facilitate people looking for new pets, and those who for whatever reason, need to find a new home for their furry friend. We have volunteers who home check, assess, transport, foster and fund raise for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, furies and so many more.

ALUK is run entirely by volunteers, who not only moderate and run the forum as one tool to help their work, but actively seek to find funding for animals at risk, who need transporting, fostering, or moving to a place of safety.

The prize we are offering is worth over £500 and will hopefully raise much needed funds for many animals either in rescue or awaiting a rescue space. For many of these animals, finding a space is the difference between life and death.

The prize consists of a weeks’ stay at the gite, which sleeps up to 10 people it can be taken between Oct 2011 and Mar 2012 excluding Xmas and New Year.

Set in beautiful countryside, there are river boats, cycles, a pool and sports and play equipment for the use of guests. Inside the traditional but comfortable house there are books and DVDs for the guests’ enjoyment. There is a terraced BBQ area and there are shops and a mill nearby. Steve and Olivia are happy to help with any special requirements and can even organize a welcome grocery pack. You can arrange afternoon tea with home baking too. Travel expenses are not included.

We are asking for £2 per ticket, all the ‘tickets’ will be thrown into a big hat, and drawn out one day after the closing date of 30th August by the head vet, Owen, at the Wrexham veterinary practice (on Wednesday 31st August.)

Have you got a poster on the website that can be printed off and pinned up in staff rooms / pubs / shop windows/ cars etc to maximise the PR opportunities to get lots of folks entering?
