Kiras gone mad

All Kira has done since I got home from work is run, from the window-sill, look outside for a while, then run to the other room and back again, stopping now and then to be petted and meowing at me constantly even right now.

She's acted weird ever since we moved to the flat, I don't know how many on here beleive in "ghosts" but it always like she's looking at someone She even stood up on her back paws like a meerkat once staring at the open living room door, nothing was there, not even a fly. She's never done that before She's a strange one

I have a cat that has acted similar ever since I got her, she will sprint around in circuits jumping on shelfs etc meowing the whole time. Then she climbs on the back of the sofa stands on her back legs and stares at the blank wall. Then she'll run off, come back and do the same again.

She is a very stressy cat and I rehomed her from a rescue centre, so it could be stress related. I have noticed she does it far less now than she used to when we first got her. Maybe it's just taking a little time for Kira to settle in to her new home.

Sounds like a little bit of stress and curiosity. I wouldn't worry about ghosts; there's no such thing.

I do try not to worry I just get creeped out when she acts like that. We heard noises in the living room ( me and Kira, her ears pricked up) and I ignored it, then the noise was there again. So Kira came with me while we investiagted. I checked the snakes, they were in their hides, the terrapin can't make much noise, checked all the rooms, didn't find anything. Probs nothing at all but still freaked me out hehe

We've been living in the flat for a couple months now, she's back to her normal chilled out self today. She prob does get a bit stressed and bored, she used to be an outdoor cat but because we moved to a second floor flat and the area I live she's having to live indoors now. Poor Kira, I feel bad for her sometimes, sometimes I think she'd be better off staying at my mums where she can go outside but the neighbors there are the type of people who hate cats in the garden, scared they'd take action against her, plus I'd never see her and I love being with her so much, I think I'm really selfish that way

Anyhoo, she gets her toys and theres always someone in appart from half the day on Sundays, so we try and keep her stimulated, but most of the time she just wants to curl up on the couch with us
