Re: Freecycle :(

I would seriously rather move/hide my animals than rehome them

I'd put a complaint into the mod for that group!

Our group aren't allowed to advertise pets/livestock

Exactly! As far as my landlady is concerned, Wabbit and Cassie are strays that I've been feeding What can I say they needed homes and I'm a sucker (everyone knows this which is why I end up with lots of rehomed animals )
If she said I had to get rid of them I'd be moving.

Our group aren't but they never do anything about it Tried in the past!
Now I email people with advice on better ways to rehome their pets but I always get ignored

I like your thinking! I think regardless of the legalities I'd find an unoccupied property & become a squatter or save up £200 for a caravan & park it in a layby & live in that before I'd give up the animals

I wouldn't usually lie about things, but Cassie was a really urgent case so I didn't have time to ask my landlady first (I was asked the day before her owner moved abroad if I could take her as they couldnt find her a rescue place) then once she was here I was too scared to tell my landlady in case she kicked me out! Then my friend (ex friend, whatever) got Wabbit and his brother and decided she didn't want Wabbit, so he came to me unexpectedly too

It's very stressful having to hide all the cat stuff every time I have an inspection And last time she came, Cassie decided to come in the house and meow very loudly. Didn't help my stray story

It's always worth telling the truth about what animals you have if you can! If not, well...they aren't harming her house
