Hello Back again

Hi all,

Sorry I've not been chatty lately. I'm having a hard time at the moment following the crash.

Car is still off the road and I'm completely house bound and have been for nearly 2 months. I cannot get out at all and am a bit depressed. I've been lurking alot as my computer logs me in when ever I switch it on. But am not up to date yet

Tabitha has grown sooooo much and a few days ago she realised she can jump high sorry I mean

REALLY HIGH

REALLY REALLY HIGH

She has been on various trips around the house. Including the tops of the cabinets

I actually almost ended up in hospital from trying to retrieve her. The look on her face when I watched her jump up there was priceless. When I got up to get her there was a toy mouse up there. So she has quite clearly been up there before.

Well to cut a long story short. I stood on my wheel chair (yes yes I know not the best idea) to reach her. I remember watching her jump down effortlessly as I fell backwards out of the wheel chair towards the floor.

Then to top it off as I lay on the floor in agony. Yep you guessed it, she jumped off the worktop on to my belly then moonwalked her way out of the kitchen whilst Moriarty was sat there as if to say. "I never gave you that much trouble when I was diddy".

Moriarty is his usual self except that he has become the local bully

He got into a fight with his friend Charlie over the cul-desack (sp?) I couldn't believe what I was seeing. By the time I had wheeled over there (Can't walk due to kitchen calamity) Charlie had gone and Moriarty was sat looking ever so please with him self. So I put him on my knee where he curled up. I picked up the collars which had come off and posted Charlies through the door as it was late.

Then I thought "OH GOD" when his slaves come down they might think somethings happened to him So I put a note through the door explaining. Anyway when I got Moriarty in he had a scratch on his ear and was feeling very pleased with himself so he helped himself to Tabitha's food and she was not happy with this and batted him on the head. Lesson learned. Always the hard way.

They are still getting along fine and were even playing football together a week or so ago but ran when the camera came out.

Hope you are all well

Em xxxxxxxxx

Thanks hun. I'm ok just quietly going insane. I've only been out 3 times since they took my hire car away on 4th june. Some idiot drove into my car on a roundabout at the end of may. As I'm disabled it's really hard to get out and about with out my car.

My babies have been a God send I'd have gone mad without them.

How are you all and you babbies doing?????

Oh yes,I can imagine how much it helps you having the cats around.I wonder what on earth I used to do with myself before I had these two! They're doing fine thank you-bags of energy and it's coming up to the time when they could go outside if I let them.I'm agonising over the decision.I think they'd love it,I really do and the rescue "approved" me on the basis that they would be going out (not too near a main road etc) but I want to protect them too..........................decisions , decisions

Re: Hello Back again

I'm the same with my two. We live in a cul-de-sac and Moriarty only goes to the house opposite but doesn't go on the road. Tabitha is a bit more confident than her brother and I'm thinking about not letting her out.

I'm in rented housing at the mo but would love a cat run when I buy a house hopefully soon.

It really is hard to decide as we want to do what's safe but know they will love it out there....

Glad you fur babies are good they really do make life sweet don't they?
