Korat breed.

Hello folks. Just wondring if anyone has owned a Korat cat as I'm thinking of getting one and wanted a little info on what the breed is like (personality, feeding etc). Thanks.

From what I can gather, theyre just a normal breed of cat like any other, so they don't require any specialist feeding, check out Hobb's A-Z for general 'how to feed your cats good and stuff'

Personality depends on the cat I think. You can have breed traits (which I cant find many of on the wiki....) but they seem to be referred to as 'blue siamese' or were said to be russian blues, so they may have SOME similarities to those breed,s but then maybe not.

I am sure breeders would be able to tell you much more about these cats.

Re: Korat breed.

I've seen a few at shows etc but don't know anyone with one. The ones I saw were very talkative and quite small. I thought they would be very light based on size but I was so wrong, they were actually quite hefty. Personally I think they are gorgeous and I'd never say no to one
