I have fallen head over heels in love...

I went out with my son yesterday and he dropped in on a friend and she has a litter of kittens and I instantly fell in love with one he is a black with a little bit of white under his chin long haired and looks just like a mini teddy bear I am not going to have him as I have been weighing up the pros and cons but I thought I would tell you about him he has the longest fur I have ever seen for a moggy he has coal black fur other than under his chin here are my pros and cons
Pros
He is black I just love black cats
He is long haired. As above
He has the cutesy face ever
Cons
Mikki will sulk in the airing cupboard for 6 months she did when I got Tiga
I really wanted to eventually get another Ragdoll hope fully a bicolour
I am worried in case I would not be able to feed all the strays still
The pro and cons are about even I know Tiga will be alright because when the nieghbours cats walk behind the cat proof wire he lays with them through the wire and when they have gone he cries for them
Sorry about the long post little kitty is 7 weeks at the mo so I have at least 3 weeks to make up my mind but do I let my heart or the sensible bit win

Re: I have fallen head over heels in love...

it's is perfectly possible to feed 4 cats at under a pound a day

so long as you can afford the vets bills (which if you're considering another raggy seems ok) the more the merrier

I have 4 so not gonna get a 'noooo don't get him' from me

Re: I have fallen head over heels in love...

You gotta have him hun!!!!

Sometimes, there are cats that come into our lives for a reason - when we least expect them - and they are the ones that mean just that little bit more than all the others. They are the ones that hit us in the heart with just one look & with one little purr. They are our little furry soulmates!!!

You'll spend your days regretting it if you don't!!!!!

So do the sensible thing and acknowledge that you are gonna have him and stop fighting with yourself. You're only delaying the inevitable. Accept it now and then enjoy the weeks of anticipation before you get him.

The main worry. Is Mikki she is a terrible sulker I have had up to 4 cats years ago but none have behaved like Mikki I insure all my pets and currently as they all come up for their boosters my vet is doing £99 for life boosters so no probes there the strays I always get them what ever is on offer at the supermarket e.g 2 for £6 and leave them something like whisked or go cat biscuits with my 2s royal Canin and hill natures best left overs I don't think the biscuits go off over night and I change my biscuits daily what do you feed your guys on? As my lot cost me a fortune

Royal Canin bought in 10 kilo bags - one bag lasts 3-4 months
Butcher's 'Classic' cat food - decent meat no grain or sugar 24 tins for £10 and they get 1 tin a day split between all 4
