Hi, I'm harry and I have a female foreign white cat, I originally got her just as a pet, so she is not on the active register, but have now decided to let her have one litter of kittens before she is spayed. So I need to find a mate for when she next calls. I'm looking for a seal point siamese at stud, preferably as near to Leicester as I can get. The kittens will be sold without papers. If you think you would be able to help please get a message to me, thanks.

Re: Siamese seal point stud wanted Leicester
I don't think you will be able to find anyone who will be able to offer you a stud here.
There are a number of things you need to think about before going down this path. I'd start by reading this thread which will give you a lot more information about why you should be neutering. Then follow up with this thread, which is about things to consider when buying a kitten. If you want to have a litter you should read up on what buyers should be looking for in a kitten. There is also a thread about why not to breed your cat, which I can't find at the moment, but I'm sure someone else will be able to. The breeder that you got your cat on chose non-active, so you should also get in touch with them about breeding, as most breeders will insist that your pet is neutered. If you are really interested in breeding, then join a club, meet other breeders and do it responsibly. If you just think your girl 'deserves' a litter based on the ideology of "it's better for them to have one litter" then you need to do some reading, as that simply isn't true. Your girl deserves a happy life as a pet, so please get her neutered asap. |

Re: Siamese seal point stud wanted Leicester
Hi Harry and welcome to the forum.
As the other posters say, you will have difficulties finding a stud cat on here. It is generally frowned upon to be breeding from non active cats( meaning registered not active or not for breeding) On your girls paper work is she registered not for breeding? if this is the case you wont find a registered stud cat here willing to breed no matter what your reasons for breeding. The feeling of bringing life into this world is a fabulous thing, but please dont let your judgement be clouded as there are equally the opportunities for lows as well as highs. Thing can and do go wrong! If after you have done plenty of research and read all the information you can find, and decide you still want to go ahead, you will undoubtedly end up with an non health checked un registered male, just think of the risks that your are exposing your little girl to...and her kittens. regards Sharon |

Re: Siamese seal point stud wanted Leicester
Nice, nice to see you all closing ranks, you breeders do stick together don't you.
There is nothing wrong with wanting my cat to have kittens, only you breeders don't want the competition, if I had bought her as a breeding queen and paid the price that goes with one, then you would all be tripping over each other to lend out your studs, funny that, same cat. Well stuff em up your ***** Thank you to the kind person who offered me a stud cat when the time comes, I wont mention your name, you too would be outcast. So nice to have been made so welcome on here! Last edited by lymorelynn; 21-07-2011 at 02:58 PM.. Reason: offensive wording removed |

![]() You have broke the agreement with your breeder, and are essentially breeding moggies. I also doubt anyone would 'trip over themselves' to lend out a stud, as most people care more about their cats well being than to breed them out randomly. Competition? There is no competition between a moggie kitten with no papers and a proper pedigree kitten, so no, I dont think anyone is worried about the competition from your kittens.
