I used to have small scratches around my neck/chest where Oscar was trying to catch my necklace. He looks at it now but I just say "Oscar, No!" and he moves his eyes to something else.
Couldn't you trim their claws a little bit? It does make a difference to us humans when they jump up, miss their aim and dig in to hold on. Mine climb up my thighs to get into my arms, and do that with trimmed claws too, but now it is less painful for me. Just don't trim them if they go outside unaccompanied as they will need their sharp claws to defend themselves. |
