Here's a painting I've been working on for someone here on the forums, a memorial piece. Oils on canvas, postcard sized- here's the finished painting, and then the progression of it. I've never painted a cat in oils before, not to completion- I LOVED doing the eyes!

fabulous picture it seems to be missing something (no offense, but good first try keep practising)

I tried some pastels here and I find it quite fun, but can never get into oils like my friend can who is a great artist with oils and water paints.
