Re: Recommendations for a water fountain please

Stangely Buffie have been considering one myself recently!

I wondered about getting this one from Zooplus using my reward points! Does anyone else have it?

Re: Recommendations for a water fountain please

I also have the Cat mate and it is certainly popular with the cats. I have had some issues with keeping it clean....but have found that taking it apart weekly and cleaning all parts especially the funnel part where the water is pushed up by the pump, it is fine. The water here in London is very hard ( despite me having plumbed in filtration ) so I use a micro fibre cloth to gently scrub and remove limescale which collects dirt. Those soft cloths don't scratch the surface at all but are remarkably effective I find.

Those little kitten "paddling pool" things are so cute... I have been tempted on more than one occasion myself. But I wasn't sure whether the kittens would actually pay any attention to it.

Meeko does, probably because it makes a mess .I put his treats on the floating "things" keeps his attention for a few seconds.More fun if he knocks one off into the water, nearly drowns himself trying to reach it.I put ping pong balls in and he loves trying to bat them back out.
