Hello everyone, first of all I would like to thank all those who have shown interest in sending me their cat stories for the book I´m writting to raise funds for one of the cat shelters here in Spain. Since I have almost finished the first story, I would like to give a few pointers as some people asked me what I needed exactly. I am focusing it in a pesonal angle so as to creat awareness about how cats really make good pets and companions in order to get more adoptions too, so each story should tell about how they came into our lives, how they adapted to our households, their importance to us, things they do to make us laugh and their particular habits/anecdotes etc. I think about 2 pages per story would do just fine. We would like to publish for christmas so I guess by October the book should be completed. I look forward to hearing from those willing to help. Those interested should please pm me and I will send my email so they can send their stories.

to publish for Christmas they normally say they have to be ready at Easter? dunno how true it is.

I am new at this and so is the shelter but I hope I can meet a christmas deadline. Thanks a lot for your offer, I had thought of including photographs of the cats in the stories like in a center pages, any ideas?

What sort of stories do you need? I can PM you stories about Dylan and some about Beauty if you like.

That would be great, each story would be from the begining how they came to you, how they adapted, the things about them that makes you love them and maybe funny habits they have. I want to tell it like the story of each cat. For all cat lovers to enjoy and read and also for those who aren´t convinced that cats make good pets.
