Sleeping Beauty!

I got a lovely cat called Daisy from my local Cat Rescue centre two weeks ago.

I took her to the vets on Wednesday for her second vaccination and he checked her over thoroughly and said that she is 9 months to a year old.

She's settling in very well but is still frightened of unfamiliar noises and given the choice she would spend all day under our bed (she was found under a shed).

She is sleeping a LOT for a young cat.

Is this normal bearing in mind the upheaval of moving to a new home

Sam

Re: Sleeping Beauty!

totally normal, cats can sleep up to 20hours a day anyway! So let her settle as you wont know her history, keep everything slow and steady and let her come to you and come round, lots of toys and treats pics!

Re: Sleeping Beauty!

we had our two a few weeks before christmas it took them nearly two months until they seemed settled. Susie spent the whole of christmas under the christmas tree, don't think we saw her until we took it down.
