I would also like the pink slip. If the breeder was concerned that the girl was going to be used for breeding in her new home, she should have been neutered before rehoming, as even a girl registered on the non-active is still at risk of being bred by a byb.

I think it is important that the breeder hands over the pink slip. It is a GCCF rule that they do so at the time of sale unless the breeder has the agreement of the buyer in writing to hold onto it. I completely agree that it's an unnecessary slip of paper to most pet buyers but why shouldn't breeders abide by the rules? Unless a buyer signs a contract with an express term to the contrary then they should get that registration slip along with their kitten.
