Re: fussy eating in pregnant cat

I never like to see a cat eating only dry personally. She can eat a high quality adult food rather than kitten food as theres really very little difference. Have you offered the tinned food she was eating before?
buffie likes this.

Re: fussy eating in pregnant cat

Well it should really and she will need to be eating a lot more when the kittens are born as well.

Hopefully someone more experienced with breeding will be able to help you. How close is she to her due date, when was she mated?

Re: fussy eating in pregnant cat

So she has been checked by a vet who gave you that estimate.

Obviously she needs to eat so if shes only eating the biscuits then she needs something. Have you tried offering the wet and not offering the biscuits at all?
