Hi, i need a bit of advice. We have a black bird that is stressing our cat (Tee Cee) out. We normally let her out the back garden but this bird keeps making aggressive 'peeps' at Tee Cee. This is stopping her from going out. The other day i let her out the back, the cat come running in because the bird. So i opened up the front window so she went out there, but the bird followed her to the front of the house. So Tee Cee came in laid on the window seal and meowed.

The 'peeping' noise is constant and the movement of the bird is very aggressive. We have a nest on the roof so he is obviously protecting his young.

Any ideas on how long this may go on for? I have searched the net but couldn't find a solution.

UNtil the youngsters fledge. He's just being protective so a few more weeks and then it will stop.

I have the same problem, Scamp just wants to lay in the garden and soak up the sun, the blackbird just harasses him, he either just lays there meowing or gives up and comes in. Guess we wait until the babies fly the nest

We have had the same problem too. The Black bird kept swooping down on Harley and then flying off.
What I did if i hard the black bird then i would try and get Harley in.
This week it has not be so bad so maybe a few more days and yours might stop.
Also you might have to watch at for the Baby Black birds if the nest is in your garden.
