IKEA sell wire covers that you can cut to size and easy to use.

Oh, they don't have the citrus smell though, but serve their purpose and my kittens are bored of wires now as they have better thing to wreck havoc with

Re: Is there a UK version of these?

They're $6.99 dollars but with the shipping they'd be over 30

I had a kitten who chewed through the television wire and I got there too late So now I have everything off constantly. Even if I go from one room into another I have to go round and turn everything off at the mains and then put it back on

O/P would the ikea ones withstand chewing? I'd be terrified that just one bite and that'd be it xxxx

Yes, they are made of hard plastic, so even if they are messed around with the cats teeth wouldn't be able to go through them and the wires. As with all things I suppose it wouldn't hurt to check them for wear and tear every now and then. Did you see the link I posted above after my edit?

Cable Tidy Kit 3.5 mtrs Black Organising Kit with Tool | eBay UK

Something like that Em. Almost every wire in our house has one of these on I'm also very paranoid about such things. But they do offer peace of mind when Tinks disappears behind the TV unit or through the night when she lays on the wire for the fan in the bedroom You can even double them up for extra safeness

You can buy them even cheaper in Poundstretcher though

Re: Is there a UK version of these?

Yey! Thank you both of you!

Even when I'm in the front room, the second one of them even gets near to the tv I'm almost in tears I'll never get over what happened I don't even have the oven switched on at the mains in case somehow they hurt themselves

With them being plastic I could spray them with anti chew spray anyway couldn't I? Just to be on the super safe side

Re: Is there a UK version of these?

I don't see why not hun. But I do find that Tinks doesn't seem to like the 'taste' of them anyway, and believe me she would chew it otherwise.
