pattern/colour

Hi all,

Quick questions to all BSH owners/breeder/(or just people who know a lot about them ).. If you mate cream-blue girl with blue colourpoint boy what would be the possible pattern/colour of their babies?

Thanks for all the answers xx

Re: pattern/colour

All I know is if she doesnt carry colour point then you won't get colour point babies.

The rest I have no idea. Is this for the kitten you are planning on getting?
marlie likes this.

Re: pattern/colour

you can get blue girls and boys, cream boys, and blue/cream girls. If mum carries CP then any of these in colourpoint too.

The breeder should be able to tell you what they are expecting better than us as they will know the genetic of their animals.

Re: pattern/colour

As I said in my post aboove - you won't be getting a rainbow of colours

blue or cream boys
and
blue or blue/cream girls - that's all. Not a huge variety.

IF your girl carries CP then any of those in CP.

I think the OP is buying a kitten from a breeder rather than breeding but the breeder should be able to say if the girl carrys CP...
