Re: My cat is dying, i just needed to get this off my chest..

Like all the rest here, I've got tears running down my face--that was a beautiful tribute and I feel your pain. We just lost our beautiful Pippin 6 weeks ago yesterday, and while the pain is easing and we are able to talk about him without welling up, it's still there and we all miss him. And he was our strange neurotic cat who was mostly nocturnal. I can't bear to think what it will be like to lose my Gwennie (my kitty soul-mate) when the time comes. Try to remember all the happy times and all the love you shared. The time was too short, but it was good.

So sorry Charlotte , we invest so much love in our fur babies and it hurts so much when we lose them. Is it worth the hurt yes because what they give back to us is what our memories are made of and your memories will last forever. Not sure that sounds right but you know what I mean.
Thinking of you xxx

Re: My cat is dying, i just needed to get this off my chest..

Charlotte, i can only repeat what everyone else has said. You have written a lovely tribute to your beloved boy and i too, am in tears.

It will take time to get to a place where your memories of him will make you smile rather than make you cry. You will get there. The oldest clique that time is a great healer, is honestly true.

Hold tight to your memories Charlotte. Your boy maybe at rainbow bridge now, but he will never be forgotten. He would of known how much you loved him

RIP little one....sleep tight

Kelly xx

Re: My cat is dying, i just needed to get this off my chest..

I haven't been in a brilliant place emotionally lately so wanted to make sure I was willing to sit in floods of tears before reading this properly... and to say this made me tearful is an understatement. I am so sorry to hear about your lovely cat and I wish you didn't have to go through this awful pain.

What a beautiful tribute you have written. I felt like I was there with you through all of those times you shared with your beloved cat.

Thinking of you and sending loads of love your way.

Re: My cat is dying, i just needed to get this off my chest..

sorry to hear of your loss

i'm in the same boat, we went through lots of things like relationship brake downs etc.

My parner came home for her work on friday and found my cat at the back door and she was off her back legs, they went to the vet, it was a serious trauma, she was put to sleep on staurday, i wasn't able to be with her, as i was offshore.

when me & my ex got her, the woman at CP said they'd come off a farm and she was the runt of the litter, but she was beautiful.

as you can see, she turned out nothing like a runt.

Cleo

me & my partner are both still shocked and the house feels empty now.

Charlotte, your words are beautiful, and your friend is clearly a very special boy. I'm so sorry that you are experiencing so much pain at the moment. I wish so much that he makes a miracle recovery but if not, remember that he has brought you so much joy to your life and you have learnt so much and grown with him. All of those moments that you found so special were special for him too.

Thinking of you and your boy. xx
