Introducing dogs with cats

So my puppy is going to see its first cat in a little while, and wanted to know what experiences you all have had introducing a dog to a cat?

Bad or good?

Re: Introducing dogs with cats

Our puppy with the cats was ok but we had to be more careful when we introduced the dog to new kittens. We kept the dog on a lead and under close supervision. Little by little until she could be trusted and it took a few weeks.
The dog didn't want to hurt the kittens but she was a bit rough playing.

Any advice ? I am hoping it won't be a case of
