Question Need math help *again* lol

Ok im thinking of buying porta 21 feline finest grain free.

There are 2 bags of 10g on there for £52.19.

My cats dont eat alot of dry. Around 800g a month. So how long will 20kg last if they are eating 800g a month?

I need to go back to school i think???

Over 20 months... Well over that but I cant be bothered to work it out lol

When I fed dry, in my misspent youth, I always worried about buying such a big bag as I was worried itd go stale... I dont think I'd want to eat from a bag of dry which had been open over 10 months... Just me though. I don't feed dry now.

Re: Need math help *again* lol

if they eat 800g/month then 20kg should last you 25months, so just over 2 years. does it keep that long? lol

(btw, its 20kg/0.8)

x

Number of Months = Weight of bag / Amount used Per month

20,000g bag / 800g per month = 25 months (2 years)

One of my cats refuses to eat anything without a couple of bits of dry on it Even when they have raw meals I have to put even tow or three tiny bits of dry on top - like a garnish, before she'll eat it

Lordy, where were you during maths lessons hun?

20000 (ie. 20kg in g) / 800 = 25. So 20kg of that food would last your cats 25 months, which is probably longer than the use by date. Also, I thought one of your cats wasn't good with dry food and was sicking it up.

Don't forget to buy the smallest bag of this first before buying such large quantities and use-by-dates.
