Getting worried now :-(

My male neutered cat Alfie hasn't been home now in over 12 hours which is so unlike him. I live in a quiet area no busy roads, I know the hot weather is proberly playing a big part of it but I'm getting slightly worried now. He is chipped and wearing a collar with my contact details on. I hope I'm just over reacting.
I went for a drive about eariler but nothing

I hope he comes back soon. He is probably asleep somewhere. My cats have barely moved in daaaays due to the heat, except to chase moths...

Re: Getting worried now :-(

My Moriarty does this too. He is a very clingy cat but sometimes he forgets this when the weather is nice and I end up searching for him.

I'm sure he has just found a comfy spot somewhere, he will probably be on his way home now it is cooling down he will probably remember he is hungry.

Hope he comes back soon and don't forget to let us know he's ok.

Em xxxx

Re: Getting worried now :-(

Just dawned on me. Is it bin day near you?

Moriarty go stuck in a yard once and was gone for 24 hours. He came back in about 8 at night guess he got stuck when bin went out and got out when bin came in confused:
Just a best guess though. He came in after I heard someone dragging a bin about.

Hope he returns soon, he may be locked in somewhere, my Scamp was missing for a week and returned at 4 am in the morning, pretty sure he was shut in someones house while they were on holiday, check with neighbours.

Re: Getting worried now :-(

He is back home, thanks everyone for your concern. I've just got home and he was sat waiting. He normally is stuck to you craving fuss or sat on his radiator bed! I dread to think what it's like in this weather with a fur coat on!
