Tonight Tabitha was chiruping like mad over a daddy long legs and as soon as I put the video camera on she stops

What makes your kitten chirrup so I can have the camera ready. I know I'm probably really sad but I want it on video for when she is all grown up.

Lilly chirrups all the time particullarly if she chases a fly or if shes watching birds out of the window though.

Sticking something to the wall works for my cats, like a bit of blue tac too high for them to reach, or a laser pen on the ceiling

not sad at all!! I take pics and vids every day!

they just seem to KNOW that its coming out and stop what everrrrr they are doing

mine mainly do it at birds outside, still waiting to get vids of certain things are 3 years my end, they just seem to know!!

TB isn't it always the way? As soon as the camera comes out they turn into statues

It sucks when the cat is doing something cute, you run to pull out the camera, the cat keeps being cute, just before you take the photo the cat stops doing the cute thing. ... so annoying....

A laser will sometimes work on my boys but so will any reflective light, like the reflection off a wristwatch or a screen. I have the light bouncing around the top of the ceiling so there is no way they can get to it... they sit on top of the couch and chirp at it My Bloo used to chirp all the time instead of meow but his brother, Freckle, taught him the 'proper' way and he stopped. And by proper I mean LOUD... it's the exact same as their dads

Merson purrs & chirrups when I snuggle up and around him on the bed..... It turns my heart over every single time I hear it.
