My cat has not been home for 3 days now getting worried because it's hot outside and he's got black fur he's prone to sun stroke recently round my area a little kitten was trapped in a bear trap makes me wonder if my kitten has hurt i have 2 kittens they both have their nads but only one seems to bugger off
just wondering if anyone can give me a calm piece of mind

Thanks

Re: My Cat Is Missing

i dont know if i can offer any piece of mind (though perhaps you can take some heart from the last posts in this thread : where would an escaped kitten hide? - 10 days on and when all hope was fading, the owner got a call).. but i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you and your kitty.
why would there be a bear trap in norfolk?

If they are not neutered you need to get them neutered before letting them out! Its very irresponsible to let unneutered cats roam. He will be off looking for a mate, no wonder hes wandered off...

I hope he gets back soon and you can get them both neutered...
Yeah i know that been to the vets today it's not cheap
And yes i mean not neutered

You can get vouchers if you are in receipt of benefits or a student, its only around £30 for me.

Anyway, like I said, they shouldnt be outside in that case, as you have found out they will wander and its dangerous.

Once they are home, keep them in until you get the money together to neuter them for their own sake, and other cats.

Im sorry but if they arent neutered they will wander, and you probably wont see them again as they go for miles for females, then the fighting will start and the spraying and crapping all over your house to attract girls, they will also fight eachother

if you dont have £20 for neutering, neutering is really cheap actually AND you can get it FREE so no excuse really!

you cant afford £800 op for his eye being caught in a fight or a tooth mark in his head that filled with puss, and YES this is from expereince and that is hiow much it cost us to save his life.

read the other thread someone just rescused a un neutered make and he has lukiemia and FIV, which they get from fighting, and they can also get herpes/chlamidya and cat AIDS, which means, well, I think you can guess raelly.

all that from not neutering, Free neutering doesnt seem to bad no does it?

EDIT:
here you go, FREE AND LOST COST neutering in Norfolk (AND ALL AREAS!!!!)

Re: My Cat Is Missing

I am really sorry your cat has gone missing. I really am. Though
i would of thought your vet would of advised you how important it is to get them neutered before they go out.

Animals will cost money to look after properly, my two cost me a fortune especially with them being house cats. However that is my decision and i researched extensively before getting them.

I really do want to come across as giving you a lecture because i know you are worried. As the others said..neuter as soon as possible.

Keeping everything crossed he is home soon.
