Missing him... :'(

Hi Everyone,

Right now I'm missing my beautiful cat Jimmy. He passed over 2 years ago and whenever I think of him I start to cry. He passed on the 9/5/09 (two days after my birthday) and I've been wanting to hold him in my arms since. I still feel the pain and loss I did over two years ago. He was a tough, strong and loving cat.

Every morning he went for a 1/2 an hour walk before drinking his milk and eating his brekky and he never came back. I then found him dead on someones driveway attacked at the neck by a dog (probably a pitbull).

He will never leave my heart. <3 <3 <3 <3

Re: Missing him... :'(

So sorry what a way to lose your baby Yes I have lost my babies as many of us have on here. It's 16 years since I lost my first cat and 15 the previous one, I still get upset even now but they are always in my heart and thoughts, they both died before their time as they were both sick with cancer and that was the hardest part. I have pictures up alongside pictures of my sons as they were part of the family and always will be. I miss them so much but I look back to the happier times and the fond memories I have of them. In time you will find it easier but you'll never forget him and he will be running free at the bridge knowing he is still a part of your life

Yeah, I start to randomly burst into tears when I think of my Jimmy boy.
I kept the last packet of dry food he ever had just to keep the memories.
Thank you so much for your support. I really need it right now.

Re: Missing him... :'(

yeah i've lost some pets

I fouind some photos of my beautiful Boxer Sasha yesterday, and my mothers Rott x GSD who she grew up with. They were both amazing dogs and i miss them every day.
But looking at the photos of them in their prime made me really happy. They we're both very old when they passed (im sure sasha died from a broken heart after rocky went). i havent looked at their photos since then cos i thought it would be upsetting, but it's nice to get that image of them back in my head, when they were healthy and full of life.

And not forgetting Kiwi... My female tortoiseshell/white cat who was incredibly vocal and loved to be petted as roughly as possible. She went missing and to this day i dont know what happened to her.. i still hold out hope that she's alive somewhere, doing her thing.. she was very streetwise, and thought she was a dog (top dog in fact!). She may even have gone to look for rocky and sasha.. perhaps she's still out there, searching for them, to bring them home.

Miss you all!

Re: Missing him... :'(

We lost our beloved rescue cat Polly in April she repaid us with lots of love and cuddles in the six years we had her and even typing this I'm welling up .
Last night we went out for a meal with our children to celebrate 3 birthdays in a week, would you believe ,and my son was carting around a big present that my husband was convinced was for him however when we had finished eating Si gave it to me and promptly fired up the video on his phone to watch my reaction. One of his friends , who is a very talented artist , had copied my favourite photo of her and of course I blubbed for England ! It is the most precious gift I've ever had and as I write this she is looking at me from her position over the mantlepiece.
Also we are getting one maybe two new babies in a couple of weeks and although we could never replace her and would never try we are really looking forward to our new arrivals.
Have you got other fur babies in your life ?
Thinking about you and Jimmy
Love Jeanie x

Re: Missing him... :'(

I shouldnt read these threads I get so emotional and it still hurts big time when I think of the puds I have lost.Lulu my tortie girl was like a little person very affectionate and vocal I had to let her go at the age of 21yrs on the vets advice, that was over a year ago now and I still cry at the drop of a hat thinking about her, wishing I could have done things differently.
You will always miss your boy and in time you could maybe make a little scrapbook with pics of him.I plan to do this when I am less emotional.

Angie xx

Re: Missing him... :'(

When I loose a cat I feel the same as if I lost a human. I really want to hold Jimmy in my arms again.
