We were both rudely awakened at 2am on Friday morning when his radiator bed rather unceremoniously dumped him on the floor because it had broken

I woke up to find him sitting next to it staring at it, looking a bit sheepish

LOL, sounds like my Mr B (Basil)!!

He wedged himself in to a box but when it came to dinner time he couldn;t actually get out The panic on his face was hilarious!

Oh poor Mr B!

Moriarty had a similar look when Tabitha trashed his favorite coke box bed. He'd had it for ages and was clearly devastated. The new one I got him just wasn't the same

I hope Bailey gets over it soon

Sorry but my initial reaction was to laugh, I imagined him falling (hope he wasn't hurt) and the look he probably had on his face. What a way to be woken up for all of you, couldn't break during the day could it!

Likewise I had a bit of a giggle at this (sorry Mr B!!) mainly becuase you can just imagine the look on his face as if to say "well what did you go and do that for!!"

Have you got him a newer sturdier one??

In answer to both posts, yes he was fine...not too far to fall! And yes, the look was something along the lines of 'stupid bed...I didn't even do anything!'

The plan is to replace the rubber washers on the frame to see if that helps, and if not it's a new bed for Mr B...altho he may be a bit big for it based on the below picture (but it said it was a big bed )
