Re: Cat's bed

For us cat bed = place where cat toys are kept, they've not used them once!

Ours tend to sleep anywhere and everywhere, jet is currently curled up next to me on settee on a cushion and lilly is on a dining chair under the table! They have a spare bed which they sometimes use, but they love our bed and even the wardrobe

Jet also loves to sleep on the windowsils as the radiators are below them, quite often hes got his paws, tail or nose on it.

Re: Cat's bed

Pffft cat bed. If you have a floor, a sofa, a bed, a sink, a bath, a doormat, a shelf, a tv unit, in fact ANY piece of uncomfortable looking furniture, then you have more than enough cat beds :P

Yep, or a lap?
But ours won't sit on laps.

Re: Cat's bed

I've got two radiator beds, two of the 'cat bed cozy', the 'trixie cuddly cat bed' and a large doughnut shaped one for my two boys. We used to have a soft igloo but Bloo chewed it to bits while teething (they rarely used it anyway), another doughnut bed got destroyed, and I also used to have soft throw blankets inside popup washing baskets (the cheap ones from Primark or similar) that were put on their sides but Bloo had accidents in both... And that's on top of the cat-tree hammocks etc. My boys will sit on your lap for a cuddle but they don't like to sleep on you unless you are lying down as well, so we have lots of beds so they have a choice in each room.

I've moved them around my house and they seem to have likes and dislikes based on type, placement and season! And of course they still like to sleep on the back of the couch, or on a step or on shelving. I haven't met a kitty yet that will only sleep in 'their' bed, but I have heard of such amazing little cats. Personally I'm just grateful that mine don't sleep in the litter...

Re: Cat's bed

2 covered litter trays and 1 open - Mabel uses them all as beds - if you have a 'litter sitter' you willnae stop them

Re: Cat's bed

Do you already have a carrier?
If not, I would suggest you to get the wicker carrier.
It doubles as a cat bed (you can use an old throw, cushion, jumper, etc inside) so at least you don't end up with something useless in case your cat would be more attracted to the box it came in

Re: Cat's bed

If my furball is in the greenhouse, its lying on top of 2 garden rubbish bags, which currently have some soil/small stones in it. Loves that.
If he's in the house, he's either on his folded over double size duvet (which he has decided is now his, from last year and not mine). Or just a bath towel which is on the floor, beside the radiator, in the dining room.
