Re: Have cats made you less squeamish?

I will clean up cat vomit and poo without a second thought, thanks to growing up round animals it becomes so natural but if it was a human doing it....... thats a total different thing! lol

Re: Have cats made you less squeamish?

I'm just not squeamish atall, never have been

Giving birth to two kiddy winks myself, working at a vets when I was young....I'm at ease with all bodily fluids of various colours & textures ha ha

I've had a dead rabbit pee over me, a dogs ruptured spleen spay me head to toe, I've scooped up vomit with a dustpan & brush!

Is it nearly lunch time lol

Re: Have cats made you less squeamish?

I'm less squeamish than most people.

My mother is a biologist (which means I was always on the woods, looking yucky stuff with an scientific interest ) and I have a diploma as a clinical pathology technician (which means loads of human poos, pees and other secretions ) and I'm a dentist (which means loads of dirty smelly mouths and the occasional vomit while making impressions )...

...but...

... I've never thought I would be letting a cat sleep in my bed and have her drooling all over my face in the morning and be okay with that!!

(I also compliment all her nice poos and it's a normal part of our dinner conversation)
