I don't know what I would do with neighbours like this. It's not often I get OFF my high horse about indescriminate breeding like this.
Someone I know got a moggy kitten and was posting pics on FB. They said it was 7 weeks, barely looked it. I said how cute he was but that he's really too young to have left his mum and litter mates etc. But the damage is done now and told him he could get him vacc'd from 9 weeks, neutered at 5/6months and not to let him out until 10 months ish if he's going to.
His reply was that his missus had a cat before so "no harm done".
Urgh. NO HARM DONE? arrggghhhh I could just scream!!
I actually despise people.
I deleted him from facebook.
Sorry for the hijack. I just know how you feel about these dickwads. They're either breeding themselves or funding it. One is as bad as the other

Our first cat we got many years ago came from a house where one of the kittens was killed because they were playing rugby in the house and stepped on one.
I think the biggest problem up here (in England, i am from deepest darkest wales) is that people pay for moggies. Even if its £60 its too much. Thats why they don't mind litters as they can get money.
All of my cats were from wales, and "free to good homes". Yes this can cause problems with anyone wanting one, but surely those who pay a little aren't being vetted either? I realise in cities like cardiff they also charge, but i do feel this adds to the issue of indescriminate breeding. Take the 'profit' out and people may be more keen to take advantage of free spay schemes.
