What does my kitten do with his toy balls??? In the last week - since he came to us - I must have given him a dozen little balls which he absolutely adores but somehow they all go missing. I can only find about three.

I think some pixie is robbing my baby of his toys.

I have no idea as I brought my cats at least 30-ish ping pong balls but I can only ever find 5 at the most

heh heh - it's one of the mysteries of the universe. And what is even more startling is that in five year's time, after countless spring cleanings and redecorating the house from top to bottom at least three times, he will stroll into the living room with one of the balls you thought lost forever in his mouth - and you'll never be able to find out where he has had it!

I won't forget the look of shock on the removal men's faces when we moved a while ago. They picked up the sofa bed and there underneath it were the little furry bodies of about half a dozen mice Not real ones I hasten to add but I'm sure they thought they were Now we have a 'mouse stick' which I can poke under to retrieve the little beasties and I'm sure Mai Tai knows exactly how many are there as she won't play with any until they're all freed
I also find pens (stolen by Rosie)
I hate to think what they've hidden under the washing machine cos they're often poking paws under to reach something

Disappearing toys!!!! Tell me about it.......

I came across the little balls that Merson likes in a pet shop a couple of weeks ago so bought him 3. Now I can only find one!!!!!!!! And I had to root around to find it as well!!!!

I think they hide them as part of a cunning plan to make us keep spending money on them!!!!

Ours also got pom pom balls and we often see jet stuck under the sideboard with his bum sticking out as thats as far as he can get, im sure he does it as he knows we get the feathers stick out to get them and then wey its playtime with the feathers!

Alfie is the same!! you get in from work and every ping pong ball he owns has disappeared... if you are lucky he will show you which bit of furniture he has flicked the majority under. However he always makes sure that at least 1 is left hidden under the bed for playing with once we have gone to sleep!!!!
