Might have found something that works!!

My cat with the very poorly tummy seems to be finally improving on Hills D/D, however it costs a fortune, if I have no other choice then no problem however does anyone know of an equivalent?

Also why is it not recommended for kittens?

Thanks

Emma

Sorry cant help with an alternative but wondered are you buying from your vet or on line.I'm sure it will be cheaper on line if you are not already doing this. Hills D/D Feline - CATS_Hill's Prescription Diet pet healthcare

Re: Might have found something that works!!

If they are kittens I found that the kitten food gives them runny tums anyway, so I've avoided it!

Re: Might have found something that works!!

You may need to ask Hobbs about this but D/D is the Venison and Pea one isn't it so you would need to try single source protien that isn't common in cat food as it sounds like it's an intolerence but you vet would have to confirm that, but I'm sure their are some varieties from Zooplus that would be cheaper than the D/D but you would be best asking her.

Hi yes its the venison and pea one, it seems to have worked so far, currently awaiting the results of the 2nd feacal sample so I can completely rule out a parasite.

I have ordered it online bt as the piggy loves the stuff hes getting through it, just bought the wet version will be the test as he cannot tolerate wet fod at all
