Question Best type of cat litter

Hi Guys!
Just need some advice about the best type of cat litter to use?
Before i got my kitten my bag of cat litter from the supermarket would last me about a week and a half.
This cat litter is 10kg and cost me £1.14 the thing i have noticed is this is non- clumping.
Is it better for me to buy a clumping litter and will this last longer?
At the moment the bag of litter i normally buy only lasted me 3 days max as i have to change ther litters fully twice a day with it.
Also using cat litter liner bags like they are going out of fashion
please help me

I use Chick Crumbs too, they hide any smells and clumps really well so you can remove the wee's easily

does it clump up and make it easier to scoop out?
At the moment if i try and scoop out the wee part it just mushes up and goes nasty and can not be scooped out

Re: Best type of cat litter

The chick crumbs are fab, I won't use anything else again, lol. They last ages, I just scoop out twice a day and once a week empty the tray, disinfect and put more crumbs in

Re: Best type of cat litter

I use chick crumbs, but have just changed to an enclosed litter tray, just because mine are a bit messy when it comes to cat litter. They seem to kick any type of cat litter out of the tray, but the chick crumbs seem to get stuck to my feet a bit more than most and carried round the house. An enclosed litter tray and one of those mat things seems to have done the trick.
