ceiling cat trees

Am going to be ordering a ceiling cat tree for Bilbo very soon as the one he has at the moment threatens to topple each time he jumps on it and he is only 5 months and growing!

Just can't decide between 2 - wondered if anyone had any experience with either of these good or bad to help me make up my mind.

cat trees, scratching posts, and cat accessories, bargains at zooplus: Zaragoza Cat Tree

Cat Tree Argos: amazing prices at zooplus

Re: ceiling cat trees

I've not had any experience of either so can't offer an opinion unfortunately. (Although I think I like the look of the second one more.) I thought I might sneak in with my own question as well if that's ok..

Does anybody know of any really tall ceiling cat trees? I live in a flat in a converted victorian house and the ceilings are really high but not sure how high. I'm pretty sure 280cm would be too short which is the highest I've seen. Having had a quick measuring attempt I think I'd need a 285cm tree at least.

Excellent - Bilbo is going to be a big boy so good that it has stood test with larger cats. Now got to wait for them to come back in stock.

Side note bought him a catnip mouse today best £2.50 i ever spent was trying to rip it out of bag as i was walking through the door and has only just left it now (to have a lie down!) been going crazy for last 2 hours!!

Re: ceiling cat trees

Do you think I might be able to get a ceiling cat tree that's slightly too short and use some kind of block to get it tight to the ceiling? It would need to be very secure as oscar is quite a heavy, muscular boy.
