New cat hiding under my bed

Well, our vacancy for a new cat has now (hopefully) been filled and she is currently hiding under my bed.

The new furry lunatic was catnapped from the plot of waste ground at the end of our road and shoved into our cat box and brought home. Cat number 1 is very curious as to what is in the bedroom and has been mewling at the new resident.

Only one peeing and pooing incident (in my wardrobe ) but she is now using the litter tray.

Fingers crossed the two of them will get on.

A stray? You can convert her into a member of the Da Bird fanbase!

Yes, another stray. But after this one we are fully booked.

If she ever comes out from under the bed Da Bird is the way to go.

Re: New cat hiding under my bed

We are now making good progress. After offering new cat some nice slices of turkey, she now appears to trust me and is prepared to come out from under the bed and be stroked.

This cat has what you would call a "good value for money" purr, sounding like a snoring steam engine.

I am hoping she will stay out from under the bed long enough to take a few pictures.

So top tip for the day - want to get in a stray kidnapped cat's good books? Give her some turkey.

Yes, she is training us up quite nicely thanks.

As for bribery, apparently she was an MP in her previous life.

Re: New cat hiding under my bed

Well she is still scuttling back under the bed at every opportunity, but I will get some pics today and post them.

We are also planning to give her another introduction to cat number 1, so possibly a trip to the vets also.
