Silly question on colour
I've tried to figure this one out on my own but I can't
What does it mean when a colour is described as cream silver shaded or red silver shaded (with or without white)? What does the silver shaded mean?? The pictures I've seen of cats with these colours just look plain cream or red, don't see silver. ![]() |

Re: Silly question on colour
No you won't see silver in a red silver shaded. The red silver is the colour and the shaded is the look of it being lighter [as described by MCCC] like having flour.
Red silver tends to be a very light red such as: ![]() Whilst a red silver shaded looks lighter like: ![]() Both look very different to a red ![]() |

Re: Silly question on colour
Yes they are my favourite colours as well. I have Karlo a cream tabby and white and his sister Kaisa a red silver tabby and white NFC.
These are old pics now as they are now nearly eight months Music Festival Photos | New Kittens (2). I have set my heart though as well on a red tabby coonie or wegie . I know there is a coonie available quite close who was born on my birthday but Karlo and Kaisa were supposed to be my birthday presents anyway! Ps the rex belongs to Kaisa and Karlo's breeder |
