Went out yesterday and Floss wad fine.
Came back yesterday evening and noticed floss little bit of pink on her nose didn't look cute as normal.
It was a little black and seemed swollen.

Tonight got home from work and it's looking more swollen and she doesn't seem herself, seems really scared when she's normally really loving and affectionate and is meowing loudly. (not constantly)
can also feel a lump (can just see in pics in upper middle of nose)

She is an indoor cat so I think either her sister has shown her who is the boss, she had ran into something, or has some sort of illness.

Can anybody tell from the pics what it's likely to be?

A trip to the vets I Think. Hope its not serious.

Have to agree with Amin.From the photo it looks quite nasty I would be at the vet first thing tomorrow to have it checked out,or sooner if it gets worse

could it be a sting. I would def get the cat to the vet. Anything near nose or mouth that could affect breathing is def worth getting checked out asap.

Just to echo the other posts, a visit to the vet is in order. It might be a sting but hard to tell and best looked at by a professional Hope it's nothing too serious and Floss is soon back to normal - cute little nose and all

Well it hasnt got any worse since last night but has not got any better.

Although after posting last night she kind of snapped out it and became all playful and energetic again, although still quite scared whenever i try to go near her, she also comes up for cuddles on the sofa and has a quick sleep every night and loves having cuddles with her daddy, but has not the last 2 evenings.

Ill see how she is tonight and if no better off to the vets we go.

She was neutered 2 weeks ago - but i wouldnt have thought that has any relation!?

This is obviously your decision but I would advise you to go to the vet today.It is not known how she came by this and I for one would be concerned.

Could be an allergic reaction to anything she,s come into contact with, A flower, bush, stinging plant/nettle etc, or some kind of chemical. I would not hesitate to go to the vet right away. The longer its left untreated it could get worse, especially in the area affected.
