that sounds like an awesome reccomendation, i've never heard of this but reading up about it people and their cats obviously seem to love it

what exactly does it do though, is it just a fake bird that dangles off a pole

Re: Cat toys

It's really just an unimpressive looking rod toy, with a long string and a feather attachment, except that they trim the feathers so that when you move it through the air it twizzles sends the cats nuts. They love it so much, you have to hide it between playing sessions. My friends hides hers in the downstairs loo, and her cats will sit outside the door willing it to come out

Re: Cat toys

I wouldn't worry about him getting bored when your not around, he'll just happily sleep without getting up to any mischief!! Toys here though consist of ....cheerleading pom poms (borrowed from work ) which he loves, 2 big boxes, big paper Primark bag (favourite) and a chicken drumstick who needs expensive tat from pah. Oh and a guinea pig....he's fascinated with him

Re: Cat toys

Mine love the little furry mice - I bought a box of 25 for about £5 and now everywhere I go, I see them lurking in the corners!!!

They also have a thing for the lids off of the kids fruit shoot drinks and when I was cleaning under my sofa the other day, I found literally 15 of these lids!!!

So glad my kids tidy up after themselves!!

The best thing by far for my lot though is the ticklers with the feathers on although they do destroy them within days!!!

Re: Cat toys

thank you to the person in this thread that suggested the da bird toy. I had never heard of it until you mentioned it.

Anyway it came this morning and i've had to stop after about half an hour or i think the cat will have a heart attack she is now laying down panting like a dog after banging into anything and everything trying to catch the thing.

Brilliant brilliant toy.
