Plus a disco ball is the same price as the badabeam, so worth a try.......

thanks for the replies

sounds like you're living vicariously through your cat!!! who really NEEDS the disco ball?? i think you'll find it's not the cat! *does a lil dance* LOL!!!

Re: Cat toys

have you tried the fur mice with the shaky bits in?? mine get bored of the normal ones but the shaky ones catch their attention more x

also you can get a laser thing from petsathome that randomly throws a lightbeam around the room, thats quite a funny one lol xx

or door frame hanging squeaky mice are fun too xx

or aswell hairbands mine are forever going missing (usually under the washing machine which is lilly's fave hiding place for them lol x She fetches them back for you if you throw them though ) xx

i've got a few of those motion sensitive mice that squeak when the cat bats or shakes them she likes them but they keep her attention for about 2 mins.

i think you are talking about the badabeam, i've looked up on that and almost every review i've read says its rubbish, plus its the same price as the disco light thing

she does seem to just love chasing things around and gets bored batting things around unless i'm there to throw them for her.

I live next to quite a busy road and watching her chase the lights of the cars around my bedroom wall at night when its dark really is quite comical

I'm open to more ideas, the more the better

Re: Cat toys

I have a radio control mouse that Waffles loves to chase...

.... also, my OH got an old cardboard box, cut a hole in it for a door, cut strips out of the other side and hung toys above it so that she can stick her paws through. He also made a kind of maze inside using other bits of cardboard.... really cheap and she seems to like it.

I also made a toy with an old toilet roll. I cut a hole in it, sealed the end and put treats inside.... was fun watching her trying to get the treats out.... that was until it all landed in her water bowl and went soggy....

Re: Cat toys

You need a Da Bird, guaranteed never to be just another toy they lose interest in I think they soak the feather attachment in cat coccaine
