When Alfie & Lola stayed at the cattery on Friday night they were next door to a couple of Devon Rex cats...

Wow I love them! I have never seen one in the fur before but they were gorgeous, they had curly coats.. really tiny as well, my 8 month old Raggies dwarfed them!

My OH was fascinated by them as well.. he wanted to take them home!

Does anyone own or breed the Devon Rex? Would love to know more about them!

i have seen them but not stroked one,you should see if there are any breeders in your area and pop along to get some info on them,

Yeh I didnt get to stroke the ones I saw, aparently their fur is really soft.

I have a friend with a cornish rex, very similar. Don't know anything about them myself though. Found this for you, if it helps

My Auntie breeds Devon Rexes and we had several as I was growing up. They're real characters Very intelligent
They can be known to sweat and leave sticky patches where they lie, can't think of many negatives to them tbh

Even the ones with curly coats can have semi bald bellies, hence the sweat patches My sister has got a really hairy devon but she still sweats when she sleeps.
