Re: cat grass

Mine go outside but female is forever eating grass - opinion is that grass contains minute amounts of folic acid and this is one of the things a cat might eat grass to get.

Re: cat grass

I bought a grow your own cat grass kit after a week (oops i forgot about it) in the dark it had germinated and grown into an ugly coloured mess which luckily after a couple days watering it turned green. My kitten payed it no attention at all until my bunny took a liking for it then it was just a competition between them. Tiffany never ate it just played with it and nibbled occassionally if she thought cheeko was eating too much. Its best use was as a hiding place for Tiff so she could sneak up on Cheeko and paw him before he could run away, wee bugger!

Yes, my cat loves kitty grass, or any kind of grass, in fact. Also, I bought her some catnip, sage, and parsley plants that she enjoyed nibbling on.
