Re: Cat friendly houses?

I have a huge scratcher in my dining room and there are hammocks and cat beds in virtually every room! I also have a heat lamp with cat beds under it!

Re: Cat friendly houses?

I think that Waffles is just slowly taking over the house. I have moved all unsafe and unhealthy things away because she has learned how to get to great heights VERY quickly.
She has beds and cushions but she seems to favour my lap over all of them

Re: Cat friendly houses?

Im doing the very same thing for when i get my kittens! I already have a 7 tier, large, scratching post with a built in igloo bed, another igloo bed in chocolate leather-reversable! Lots of toys around. And I am going to buy a radiator bed for each radiatior, with the cold weather setting in i want them to have an especially warm place to go to in each room they go in! Oh and plenty of fluffy/fleecy blankets for them! I look after my son as best as possible, so we will both (son too!) do the best for our furry babies! LOL!

Re: Cat friendly houses?

yep, much the same here, cat toys and cat furniture all over the house, and how many of you visit a show and while you're there you just have to buy them a new toy to take home hahahaha..

Re: Cat friendly houses?

Hahaha, I always bring something home from a show, usually some bits to add to the Catrix Climber. My hubby says the cats have more toys ect than the Bairns, lol
The utility room and one of the bedrooms are totally for the cats, they have climbers, beds, toys & shelves to sit on. Then the dinning room has beds and a stack of cozy kingdoms in there. There's always a toy or 2 in 1 room or another

Re: Cat friendly houses?

My home and garden are completely taken over by cats things, the garden is totally fenced in and made secure, so no cats can escape or get in. They have 3 cathouses outside a large cat play station. They now have their own room, it was orginally my office, now it has high catbeds and scratchers, toys cat tunnels, access via the catflap that is always unlocked to the garden. They have my queens size waterbed to sleep on, in the lounge they have the sofa, 6 cat beds, they use them all too!

All this is mainly for the the 3 Birmans, Sparky my moggy mainly just sleeps on my bed or an office chair, which is now the cats too!
