no the boys dont.. its not as invasive as what they have to do with the girls. The worst bit for Alfie was having to fast!

No, they give you the option of the lampshades. You can take them home just in case. I've only ever had to use 1 once

Don't feel bad as they'll be fine. I had two boys done at the same time and they were literally bounding about within minutes of getting them home!
I would rather look after boys than girls after their op as that is much harder for them! Hope they get on OK. Louise X

They did wake up hungry, bless em, one was trying to eat the kitchen plants so I moved them to the bathroom. The other was chewing on my fingers.
They are at the vets now, I was shaking an my mouth was dry, its not a nice thing to have to do. They don't understand. I checked whether they will have additional antibiotics and pain relief to come home with. Apparently they are having a booster of both before they come home. The nurse said by the time I pick them up they will be back to normal just to keep them in for 3 days, I am not sure if that includes the outdoor pen, I'll check when I speak to them next. I bought a disinfectant spray which is supposed to be anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral for animals, I used it on their pet carrier and I am going to do the kitchen floor and their crate which they use as a bed and their litter trays. aww bless you sue i no you cant be to carefull where germs are concerned with open cuts ect but im sure they will be just fine you worry too much hun
 you see when they get home there b none the wiser for their op,  and you will wonder wot the heck was you worrying about.
