Re: Acting Like Adults

hi Suzy, you're so right . its good to have opinionated people on any forum, surely thats the whole idea of it, but some posts on here over the past few weeks and also in private messages have become personal attacks on people, and its just uncalled for, some people just cant accept that at times our views may differ, and some users take this to heart so to speak and because two people have different ideas on a subject they see it as a personal dig . Lets try to accept that at times some people will disagree with a post, it doesn't mean its a personal attack on them, the sooner this is accepted then the sooner it will be a happier forum, anyway, lol, nice to meet you Suzy, best wishes..................CHRIS

Those sort of opinions would be good if you kept them to yourself cause thats where it starts

Sorry Guys, but it seems to me that you few have a major problem with our New Mods whom i have a high respect for, as they do a Brillient job, is it because one of you was not short Listed?

Re: Acting Like Adults

It is a basic rule of internet etiquette that one forum is not discussed on another forum. We all break that from time to time, I guess, but if that is what is happening then it should not be, and the mods are quite right to take anyone found doing that seriously to task.

Since I haven't worked out yet who most people are on any other forums, I am not in a position to know whether it is happening or not, so anyone who feels got at, you aren't got at since I do not know where this is happening or even if it is happening at all, I am speaking hypothetically.

Re: Acting Like Adults

Well instead of putting never ending threads on nasty pm's to peeps or mods(which may i say, we are pretty much all in agreement for once)why don't whomever is recieving nasty p'ms or the mods call senders of the like out or simply warn them and then ban them, imo sending p'ms with nastiness is sad and pathetic, then it leads to threads such as this..no offense mean't to you raggs,i appreciate where you might be coming from and agree with most of whats been said in these threads of the same nature, but they do make it seem like we are all like that and then someone puts something innocent, sometimes gets a reply they don't like and the whole thing goes on and on and on and on,if anyone is getting nasty pm's from someone then ask them not to pm you again or whatever,if they still persist post it and call that person out so to speak name and shame them, for most newbies i would imagine reading stuff like this wouldn't be very encouraging and again with any forum your always gonna get peeps who love drama's,nasty peeps and peeps with the mind of my ways of the world are right and thats that..so be it,their are enough of us about with more to come that we can ignore peeps we want to and buzz with the restI happen to think that the majority of us on the catsection(dunno about the rest i don't go on enough) are good boys and gals and can get along fine
