Toilet rings.

Ok this is a bit strange but have decided to look into toilet training our next cat by using the toilet rings that attach to your toilet seat which contain litter. As the cat starts to get use to using the rings you start removing the middle one a few weeks apart until the hole gets bigger and your cat is going in the loo. I do feel there are a few hygeine isssues so need to look into that. I suppose its ok if you have a spare loo. Is anyone out there training theres to use the loo. Have many of you tried these and how successful are they, Ive seen cats on utube using them and found it interesting. When trained i suppose it would save on the cost of litter and your kitty would never be caught short as long as there is access to the toilet. Any comments. ?

Re: Toilet rings.

I suppose its ok if you are using a separate toilet for your cat. Still not sure if i would want to share one. They dont wipe like we do and wash there little paws....

I was lucky with mine he on the whole did get it in the tray only a odd mishap. I remember when we had a veiwing on our flat we had the cat decided he needed to loo and was loose it shoot up in a spray on the wall. You never see me move so fast to get it all cleaned up... Yuck. Ran round with the nice smelly stuff and opened the windows quick.
